Last year, we scaled the industry.

This year, we took a bulldozer & a few demolition hammers to get to the core of what the Student Advertising Summit means to us, students, alumni, and our larger creative community.

To develop our “theme”, we explored conceptual ideas applied to our industry & industry related events on a deeper level. Our goal was to ensure that every aspect of our theme tied back to advertising meaningfully, without distracting from the event itself.

Instead of using our theme as a medium for analogies & inevitable puns, we chose to use it as a guide to our visual & copy direction.

Throughout this process, we realized that SAS needed a brand.

For #SAS2019, we’re stripping the event slogans (and the respective party decor) to focus on what makes SAS, advertising & the people who work in this industry inherently great: Creativity.
