Without the Project and Account management teams in creating an event, there would be no organization, no direction, and ultimately, no event! The Account Management team for SAS is in charge of knowing the event from head to toe, and when the day comes, be in control of keeping everything running smoothly. Without them we would not have planners to create our breakout sessions, invite speakers, obtain sponsors, and of course, plan the after event happy hour. Now the Project Management team has a lot of responsibility in their hands. They are in control of the entire flow planning the SAS event; making sure all the committees are completing their tasks and adhering to the calendar of deadlines. They also have to maneuver the assembling and creating of the SAS competition book that is submitted to the National American Advertising Federation Headquarters. Without further adieu, I introduce you to our Project, Account management team.
Hello! My name is Steph Dentinger and I am the Account Management and Event Planning Lead. I am currently a senior at the University of Minnesota majoring in Advertising and Communication Studies. I stay busy by interning at The Raptor Center, being the President of UMN Ad Club and a member of my school’s NSAC team.
Last year I was the Account Management Intern for the SAS and was amazed with the wonderful people I met and what great things a small group of young professionals and students can accomplish together!
A fun fact about me is that I love attempting to bake recipes I find on Pinterest and am not ashamed to admit that I have re-read the Harry Potter series multiple times. Can’t wait to get ‘SASsy’ this year!
Hello, my name is Lindsey Moss and I am a 2012 Graduate of the University of Minnesota. This will be my 3rd year attending SAS and my 2nd year on the committee, where I am very excited to serve as the Project Management lead.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the wonderful city of Minneapolis, attending spinning classes and searching home decor websites.
I graduated in May from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Communication and Journalism, accompanied by a Business minor. After graduation I started an internship at Nina Hale Inc., where I am currently a Project Manager.
Last year I attended SAS and not only had a great time, but also learned a lot. This year I can’t wait to help make SAS even better.
Since then, I’ve been enjoying agency life, working as the New Business intern at Carmichael Lynch/Carmichael Lynch Spong. I also work as a Brand Ambassador at various promotional events, whenever I get the chance.
I’m beyond excited to be a part of the 2012-13 SAS committee this year, volunteering with the Project Management team! Last year, I was one of the SAS Brand Ambassadors for the U of M and attended the event for my first time. This is truly one of the most beneficial learning and networking opportunities available to students, which is why I’m glad to be involved again this year.
My hobbies include anything and everything that involve the great outdoors or being up north, no matter the season. Some of my favorites: snowboarding, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, canoeing, camping and fishing.
Currently a Public Relations/Marketing intern for a small direct marketing firm and working with the office of Orientation and First Year Programs at the U of M, I’m able to develop my marketing skills as well as force-feed Gopher spirit to incoming freshmen; truly living the best of both worlds!
Learning about SAS through UMN Ad Club, where this year I’m Vice President, I attended the Summit my sophomore year but was unable to attend last year due to the Atlantic Ocean getting in the way (i.e. studying abroad in London).
With an addiction to sour patch kids, a love for Disney movies, and a passion for travel, I’m just your typical ‘ginger.’ (But yes, I do have a soul…)
Hi! My name is Carter Jensen and I am a recent graduate from the University of Minnesota! The Ad 2 organization and SAS events are nothing new as I grew through my college career being a part of both.
As an executive member of AdClub at the U, our team saw amazing growth in not only our program but also in the relationships’ between our students and local agency contacts. This is just one of many reason I am excited to be involved in such an amazing event this year!
Currently, I am a member of Periscope’s Experiential & Events team as I have been fortunate enough to be a part of this amazing group for the last 3 years.
Interesting fact… I am actually pretty good with a Yo-Yo… weird, I know.
